Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine has been around for thousands of years in China to treat the illness and injured very effectively. It is the traditional method to insert very thin needles under the skin in order to influence physiological functioning of the body. It works by stimulating the pressure points to enhance your chi (Qi, energy) and increase blood flow through the meridians to heal illness. According to Chinese philosophy the body contains two opposing forces yin and yang. When these two forces are balanced the body is healthy. All disease is raised by the imbalance of your bodies Yin and Yang or blockage of chi and blood flow i.e. like water blockage. The effectiveness of acupuncture is to help remove the blockage and to bring the bodies Yin and Yang back into balance.
